Little Micheal

I remember watching young Micheal Jackson on TV, and even then you could see the potential of what he would be come. He was an inspiring dancer and artist. I would have loved to see him perform live, and regret that I didn't, now that I'll never have the chance. I will miss him dearly.

self portrait

My friend Hugo (http://hexmor.blogspot.com/) suggested that we all do a self portrait. I did mine yay!, I'm actually happy with the finished piece. I haven't done a self portrait in a while, I had fun working on it. I drew my eyes closed, because for some weird reason, I always come out with my eyes closed in photographs.
One 0f my favorite artist is Gustav Klimt, I like his colors, swirly designs and flowers that he uses. So thought I would incorporate a little of it in my portrait.

John Marshall High school

I love my High schools main building, It has the nicest structure design in the whole LAUSD. Its nicely tucked in the Los Feliz area at 3939 Tracy St. It's Gothic design has been used in several live action and animated feature films. It also happens to be Macs school, on Foster Home for imaginary friends, which looks awesome. Goooooooooo Barristers!

Lunch break

Found a nice little park to got to, during my lunch break. Drew lots of squirrels, they have the best movement. I think I drew the same two squirrels that kept chasing each other around, but they do all look alike.

Freedom

I was looking out side the window at work, and this is what I saw.
I had to draw It, I couldn't find my wacom pen, so I did a quick sketch with the mouse.
I thought it was funny, but cool at the same time.
I' had never seen a Muslim women driving, with her veil thingy, I thought they weren't aloud to.

Maybe they were rebelling against their husbands and were getting away.

The Millionairess

I took a Scene from the movie The Millionairess, staring Sophia Loren, and painted It. I'm a big fan of Sophia, when ever I design grils I tend to use her as reference.

little suzie

My second attempt on making a plush doll, turned out a little bit better. I learned to use a sewing machine, yay!, so the process was much faster. I will start a second plush, and this time I'll try designing a boy.

I am blog!

Finally got my blog going, hopefully I can post something different each week.
Ill start with little Miss Long Leged Molly. She didn't turn out the way I expected. I drew out the pattern, traced it on to the fabric, and started sewing away. Once I was done Molly's size shrunk down, her face shape changed and i forgot to add her eyebrows. I still think she looks cute!
I learned a lot from my first try, so hopefully ill get better results, on the next three dollys i plan on sewing for Christmas.
